Arctic Char/Shout out to wesak81

Thanks for the generosity with your gear, and catching some fish with me. We were out in the Valley today.  We caught a bunch of landlocked salmon, rainbows and some smaller char.  We saw a few char that were hogs, didn't land one though, came close.  The big ones were swimming around right near the bottom of the ice. Anybody out there have any hints or suggestions on char fishing? Still lots of ice.

it was great fun, i wished i would of landed that fish damn line caught on the ice,   will be out again with my buddy on the lake sunday, come out and join us pete ,  i am going to stop at sportsman and looking for lures.  by the way after u left, there was a larger that showed up but i couldnt get him to bite anything, he looked at my lure a few times but seemed spooked ,  there was 4 total large charr when i dumped the rest of the shrimp out it was a feeding frenzy!
