Camp Chef BBQ Box anyone use them
« on: Feb 13, 2013, 08:33 AM »
Just curious if anyone here has one or has used one. Looks like a nice alternative to pan frying  but a little on the pricey side

Yes, I have the 3 burner stove with the bbq box and I also have the griddle for it.
Its the one I had up to sabattus last year. Good rig, fairly portable, will fit in a jet sled. Does not like windy days to much though.

the 3 burner does not have a wind break or does it I am thinking of the 2 burner
Is the BBQ box worth the $$  and how does it clean up

It is really easy to clean, That day you came down here for a beverage during the derby i do not know if you remember or not, but i had two sheets of plywood in a l shape off my hardside for a windbreak. It was the only way that I could get it hot enough to cook on. It works great if not windy, I think i m going to re-vamp it somehow.
