Fished below Kokomo Dam
« on: Feb 07, 2013, 06:05 PM »
I tried down stream from the Kokomo Dam today and did manage to catch a few. I was talking to some guys who said the walleye's stack up in the fast water in the spring. The told me that they removed boards and replaced the top of the dam with concrete. When the water comes over the top of the dam it floods below and the walleye move in. Just thought I would pass this on as the ice goes away.

I've fished there a few times but have never had any luck.  Only a couple white bass, never any eyes.  Mostly throw twisty tails on lead heads.  What do you catch yours on?
