Can anyone tell me about the ice conditions on Echo Lake in plymouth?

Hoping to hit Echo Lake in Plymouth this saturday..I saw a few posts last week stating the ice was pretty sketchy looking, and i know the last few days probably didn't help. Hoping the next few nights might lock it up. If anyone from the area has a chance to post something about it by friday it would be appreciated. little over an hour drive or i would shoot up and check it out. THIS WEATHER SUCKS
