Fire'n It Up At The Delta
« on: Mar 25, 2005, 11:04 PM »
Today went out to the delta with TK and joe10 caught three burbot joe10 caught a 27 inch burbot. And we caught about 100 perch and 150 tulibee great fishing. All we were using was small little green jigs with a minnow head.We got out there at about 11:30 started fishing at about 12:25 fished until 5:30.there were lots of guys out there. My tip is that when we were filleting our burbot we actually fond some perch in the bubots belly. It was a pretty nice day it would have been even nicer if it wasn't for the wind.Oh and one more thing I was hammering alot of my tulibee by just droping it  down letting the fish se it and then bring it up until it is a foot away from the ice.And you could se the fish take the lure and smim off.All and all it was a great day out on the delta.!!!TIGHTLINES!!!

What a great day it was out there with the family a friend and his family and they there was you and joe10 both of which proved to be die hard anglers braving that wind and frozen fingers. You guys just would't give up. You are an inspiration to the us old guys. Here are the pics.

Awesome to see the little guys out catching the disease we all suffer from... ;D chronic fishinitis.

Fishing is an awesome family experience, I always think back to my younger days when I see the kids/family pictures and it brings a smile to my face. Thx for posting and keep on FISHIN... Congrats to all!!!

p.s. there is no known cure for the disease but regular fishing trips seems to ease the pain...

Looks like a good time was had by all and congrats on the great catch. Nice to see the next generation with the knife in hand... practice makes perfect, so catch more fish so you can perfect that filleting technique...
