LOST POLE AT PELICAN
« on: Jan 15, 2013, 08:28 AM »
Had something kind of cool happen last night while i was fishing.  Caught a northern, good sized and it had some line, hook, and the Bobber tangled up in the line when i got it in.  Thought score lol another hook, and bobber.  got the fish unhooked getting the line untangled from it and pulled the line a little (was wrapped around the fish kind of) and up out of the hole comes a NEW ROD TOO LOL.   What a catch, big fish new tear drop, new bobber, and even a new pole lol.  BUT I would like to give the pole back to the guy who lost it.  I have a bunch of them anyways and would just love to hear the story of how you lost it.  So If you or one of your friends has been talking about the monster that got away, pulled my rod in the lake, get back to me I just may have it.  You will have to tell me something about what it looks like, what kind of jig were you using etc But if this is your pole It should be really easy to identify.  And to hear the story about how you lost it would be better than having 1 more pole in my bucket.

once in a while a nice perch, more out there for the action, been taking the kids down there and lots of bites keeps them busy and interested too.  we hooked a pole on goose too in the boat, but that one had been down there a while covered in grass.  This one could of not been down there too long, was clean and the fish was still dragging it around.
