I look at the way those rivets are put through the little amount of rubber on the sides and I just don't think I would ever buy something like that. If you get one link sideways and step on it I am sure they will break out. Just my Opinion.

had some of those staatsburgs. Worked well if you could take boots on and off. They make a full sole model as well, but they has a tendenacy to bend ater walking on land for a while. i now use yaktraks, but am looking to upgrade this season.

I have been using the HT brand that look like a sandle that goes over the boot and straps on. They have screws in the bottom and I now have seen them made with what looks near like spikes for maybe golf shoes but they look pretty mean to get lots of grip. Nothing like grip when chasing tip ups down with buddies.
