Anyone checked the Ice at Dan Hole in Ossipee?

Just curious about an ice report for Big Dan Hole.  Heard the wind blows pretty good there and makes the ice a bit tricky.  Havent fished it before but am real eager to try for lakers, If someone would be nice enough to share a little info about it I am all ears.  I got a few pointers as to where to fish just heard that accessing it is horrible adventure in the winter.
