I prefer fishing for pike in the 4-7 pound range. I have used Eagle Claw #4 Baitholders and I just ordered some Mustad Snelled hooks #4. The only problem is they seem to bend to easy. These will be going on a tip up with a 4" inch chub.

I don't pike fish at all but if you're bending hooks look for 2x or maybe 4x strong hooks. I use 4x strong trebles for striper fishing and still bend hooks. Regular strength hooks get totally straightened out by stripers.
