Roughly where were you set up CanadianIce? Don't want to scoop your hole or anything, just generally where. How many fow? Where is the windmill? Was at Rivers a couple weekends ago and didn't have any luck at all, it's nice and close and would like to go there more often. What were you using for bait/lures? Thanks.

Was at the windmill today and got skunked. Was fairly far out but still in 7.5 f. Of water. Didn't think it was deep enough but tried anyways. Know better next time. Also ran out of propane. I left shortly after that.

Pikemaster, were you out around 11:00 with your dog, looked like a golden retriever ?  We made the mistake of calling him and he wanted in our tent, he kept running around and collapsing each side as he looked for a way in, we thought it was actually pretty funny but it was totally our fault for calling him, hope if it was you that you weren't upset with him. beautiful dog.

Hey, we were in about 15 FOW. We were not to far from airplane bay. We were off the beat and path a bit, not to close to any shacks and we saw an incredible amount of perch on the camera. Although only a fraction would bite. I tried alot of jigs and spoons from my tackle box but we ended up having luck with a Northland Tackle jigging spoon (silver) and a northland tackle bro bug (pink and red) tipped with a wax or meal worm. You can buy the worms at best west pet foods at the bottom of the 18th street bridge. We weren't really fishing any structure just a large basin area, if u have a gas auger I prefer to drill alot of holes and keep moving but thats not always the best way. I hope this helped and ask if u nedd anything else. Happy Holidays  ;D

Hey guys, headed out to rivers again today. We got 1 walleye, 1 pike and a bunch of perch. We caught them all on small spoon (tipped with a meal worm)  made my northland tackle in 11 to 17 FOW.
