Background Story
At 8AM, December 30th, 5 men were sleeping, including our dad, in an ice house on shore at Zippel Bay, Lake of the Woods. The ice house unexpectedly exploded into flames, causing walls, floors and everything inside to start on fire. The 5 men ran through the flames out the door and started rolling in the snow. One of the younger men ran to the lodge and called 911. They were all life flighted to a hospital that specializes in burns.
Wiiliam Huotari burned about 80% of his body and is in a burn unit. He is not coherent but they are hoping in a couple weeks. He will be having surgery to replace his skin to help with the healing. 2 of the other men are also in critical conditon 1 in severe condition and 1 in fair. By put this on the site i just want everyone to enjoy there time on the ice and the people around them because you never know when something crazy like this will happen.
