I have a pair of Sorel Conquests that have been extremely loyal to me in DEEP slush for many of years. The only time my feet have been wet is when I've took a quick swim. On occasion in extreme cold my toes get a little nipply but toe warmers have always cured that.
If you shop around you can find them for $80-$90. Here's a link

We have Sorel Glacier Pac boots...never had a problem even in deep slush...yep a tad bit pricey but after 6 years of use still going strong. I like the pull out lining also. Here's a link  to take a lookee see.  Got ours at Sportsmen and  Smith and Edwards.

I have a pair of cabelas Inferno 2000 Pac Boot. They are warm and have kept my feet dry in water and slush. This will be my fourth ice fishing season with them, no complaints about them so far. One other good pair of boots that a few of my fishing buddies swear by are Mickey mouse boots. Military surplus boots that come in white or black, they never complain of cold feet, they are rubber and completely water proof. You can find them for a great price also.

There isn't any boot that I know of that will keep your feet warmer than the military designed white Mickey Mouse Boots .  They are 100% waterproof and are rated down to -60 degrees Fahrenheit.  I've had the same pair since I got them in 1971 and they have never let me down while ice fishing.  The black versions will work almost as well but are only rated down to -20.  And should you get a pair of these in either color, the air stem was put there to release the air pressure build-up inside when the paratroopers wearing them were in an unpressurized airplane.  It was never intended to be used to fill the boot with air to increase the insulation properties as some think is the case.  I also have a good pair of Sorels; they don't even come close to my Mickey Mouse boots when the temperature is below zero.

I have a pair of sorels myself, dont know for sure what style but i know when i bought them 3-4 years ago it was there lowest rated set at that time and they have been very good for keeping the water out. I did pick me up a pair of 600 mg thinsulate muck boots last year for the days when it gets really slushy

Mickey mouse boots are the best out,I have been through the ice feet left completly soaked and these boost will still keep your feet warm.Even with these not being a boot that is "breathable" your feet can sweat and They will still stay warm.Wear a good "wicking" sock and you will be comfy as your lazy boy and these you can get from any military surplus or ebay for 25-35 bucks.Cant beat it.
2 styles, White which i think is good to -60 and Black which is good to -20. You cant go wrong.
