What say we do a bit of correction before we get the target separation wars going really well here again? On an FL18 "target ID" is less than 1/2" and "target separation" is 2.65". This is from the Vexilar web site.

my bad on target sep. what say we do a little correction,also ,my fl18 deep which i have goes to 300' my scale starts 0-30'but a lot of guys have never seen one

I wasn't speaking to depth ranges but "Target Separation", but here we go. 

Five Depth Ranges - The Standard FL-18 includes 20', 40', 60', 80', and 200 foot ranges. The Deep Range unit includes 30', 60', 90', 120', and 300 foot ranges.
Interference Rejection - Pressing in on the Gain knob cycles you through ten different IR setting to allow you to knock out interference from another close by depth finder.
