SNOW!!!

So whats going to happen to the lakes up north with all this snow. Not much ice, and now with snow. We'll take all the moisture that we can get, but it would of been nice to have a foot or more of ice first.

The larger lakes in the Webster area opened back up outside of the bays last week according to the Sportsman Cove fishing report. Now we may end up woth a bunch of slush under the ice like we had some years ago. I would think the waters that were frozen over will take longer to get thick ice.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

yeah this is the pits, looks like a open winter than this.6-8 inches i suppose.any big waters that was still open would be better off than smaller lakes and slough's that were still locked up.any way you look at it it is dissappointing for the ice fisherman definitly and brings many smilies to the farmer for hope for a crop. I'm both so how am i supposed to feel???? :-\ :-\

Ya this definitely put a kabosh on breaking out the sled this weekend. I guess the spudbars still in play.
Jesus was said to have walked on water, I feel comfort in knowing he was an avid ice fisherman like me.
