Western North Dakota fishing
« on: Mar 03, 2005, 09:21 PM »
Some pics from a North Dakotan.  I have been checking out this site quite a bit lately and really like it.  Thought I would post some pictures of my fishing expeditions from this year and last year.  Being a college student, I can fit plenty of time into my schedule for ice fishing.  Enjoy
Couple of Lake Sakakawea fish

White bass from Lake Sakakawea.  That was a blast catching them

More pictures to come. Thanks

You got a couple of big gills mixed in there.  I dont think I ever caught one of those white bass.  What are those slimey looking fish that your buddy in the grey hoodie is holding?   They look like some sort of catfish or something?

Ok boys here are some more pics in North Dakota

A nice limit of walleye for the cleaning table.  Caught by my mom and myself.

Here is another pic of the same walleye with the whitebass and a ling that was caught.

A nice eye caught on what used to be Lake Sakakawea.  Water is getting pretty low up in this area.

A crappie caught on Pipestem about midnight in between the bottle bass.

The batch of crappies, a couple buddies and I caught on Pipestem.

Finally a nice 25" walleye caught on Lake Darling north of Minot,ND

Going on a Lake of the Woods trip next week over Spring Break, so will post some pics of that and some more Sakakawea icefishing pics over my long break.  Good fishing

nice fish. what do you go to college for? I go to Paul Smiths in NY. I take fish and wildlife management and we find lots of time up here for fishing too.

The pics were taken in my dorm room up at MSU-Bottineau.  We cleaned em and everything in that dorm room.  People were always coming to our room for fresh fish and other game we took.
