looking to take a fishing trip

Hey everyone, i am thinking of taking a road trip after christmas for some pearch or crappie. I'm thinking Michigan Indiana Pennsylvania areas any ideas on where to go?

If we get good ice across the region...I've talked to guys that do very well on Presque isle Bay in Pa.  I think they are targeting panfish.  Then a little further east in New York, guys have taken trips to Chataqua.  I know they caught good numbers and size panfish. A few guys went to Michigan to Cadillac/Mitchell and caught pike/bass last year. But not sure if it was trophy class fishing. Hope this helps.

i went to Cadillac and Mitchell last year twice. i wouldn't recommend that place either.

If you want perch i would consider Simcoe.  That will be my first road trip next month weather permitting.

I agree with IceBucky on lake Cadillac and Lake Mitchel They both suck!!! I used to live in Tustin, MI and we always went to Lake Diamond or Rose Lake.
