Help in Ely

Ok...so my wife and daughter want to go up there and do a sled dog trip.  While planning for that trip my wife looks over and says "maybe you should come up with us and go ice fishing".  I love my wife.  We will be heading up in march...I know it's a ways off...but after checking out shack rentals, and toying with the idea of towing the hardside up there...I thought this might be the perfect chance to meet some fellow shanty members!  I thought maybe if someone had the shack in place and had a couple of extra holes...I could either donate some money toward their icefishing collection, buy beer/bait/lunch, or if you just want the company could come out and converse over fishing.  I am not interested in finding out your honey hole, just in having a good time over a few beers with maybe a few fish in between. 

If your at all available in march(I will pin that date down real soon) I'd love to hear from you.  I am 36, but can talk about just about anything with anybody.  Easy going, with my own gear, including poles, auger, new underwater camera this year.  Let's have some fun!  Message me if you think it might work.

Upon further review of the play...or calendar...the wife informed me that we will most likely be Heading up
jan. 17-20th.  I'm hoping to meet up with someone in the area and have some fun.  We're likely staying at the grand lodge in ely for the kids to have a pool.  I figured someone up there wouldn't mind the company.

I still have a guy to call...but I was kinda hopin just to find someone from the sight that wouldn't mind someone tagging up with them for a day of fishing.  I have my own permanent I could drag up there...but I was hoping not to reinvent the wheel and get to know another member at the same time!
