I do not own a boat so hopefully they'll be on fire in the winter too.

perch are the best.not too hard too catch, great to eat and tons of fun.they are my favorite fish.i wish i lived closer to lake ontario and oneida.great perch lakes.i fished oneida a few times for eyes and perch on open water.i would love to stay at oneida for a long weekend on the ice.cant find many cottages on the lake for the winter.saw one called hidden harbor.dont look too bad.90 bucks a nite.or 500 a week.going to look into it as soon as the ice starts.can we bring quads on onieda and ontario?good luck guys.

There are some cheap motels in the area you can always stay at if you wanted to make a trip up. If you do make the trip and need someone to show you around I would be happy to fish with you. Sodus bay is where its at for perch, if you want a better chance at walleye then Oneida is the place to go.

Sodus Bay is where you want to go, Stop in at Warren's and we'll set you up with lodging, all the gear you need and give you the best available information on where to go and what they are being caught on. We'll see you in a couple months :icefish: Also you can use quads and sleds on Sodus.
