there biting

Catfish that is.... went out on the river, this was my second trip this week, first time I hooked 4, landed 3 - second trip I hooked 3 landed 2, both pictures are from the second trip, the one went about 11-12 pounds I would guess, that is a 1 liter mountain dew bottle for reference, the fish is much larger.....

drive on down..... be careful though, we have 2+" of snow right now here in caldwell and its still snowing....... ??? we never get this kind of weather, especially in March....

Same as we're gettin' here, it's covering ice patches in the paths here and I just found one, a second too late. In the market for a new behind ~ this ones near broke.     :woot: :roflmao:

no kiddin, they are biting at Brownlee. Seems early but oh well. Catfishing is fun stuff especially at night.

Crappie from Brownlee? You betcha! No massive numbers but still a great first day in the boat. Between me and my buddy....40+/-

Brownlee is at least 20' low. Will ruin the fishing if they bring it up too fast.

In case you're wondering, I learned well from Perchmasterson....jigs, 10-30 feet....that's all you get, so don't ask, LOL!

I live near Burley.  I did catch one around 4 pounds on a crappie jig the other day at CJ Strike.  I sure enjoyed it.
