just got back from deschambault yesterday. The snow conditions are the best i have ever seen for this time of year. There is not a bump on the lake and 7 inchs of snow cover ontop of a melted down base. The bush trail is bumpy like usual but there is snow on it. There were a few quads up there but they had a hell of a time moving around.
We fished oskikibuck the first day and it was good. Lots of walleye and they were a little bigger than most years and the pike bit good too. Day 2 we went to Alsmith, the walleye fishing was excellent. We fished a few different places and it was good all over. We then went back to oskikibuck to catch pike in hopes of hooking some big ones. 12 lbs was the biggest but losts in the 5-10 range
