MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
I've been using one this season and absolutely love it, they are a bit heavy but that hasn't bothered me at all yet. Best part I have only burned up 3 tanks so far, probably due to the ice never getting over 16" but I'll take it.
Nice lesson on astronomy...
Pro 4's do drill nice but I can't justify doubleing the weight of my current auger and 3-5X annual fuel costs to own one....
The pro4 is the lx7 of augers... glad you are happy with your old vex though.
When my Nils/Tanaka dies I'll look for a new one.... not expecting that to happen in my lifetime though....still can't justify 38 pounds over 21 pounds...And I have no use for little green bombs, haven't bought one in near 20 years....
Tanakas have 50 years behind them, longest lasting 2 stroke in production at the moment....Not loyalty just choosing the best tool to spend my money on that will hopefully last the longest....Same reason I spend $250 on a hammer, it's the best out there and I make my living with it.....
Little green bombs??? Heck, I'll just strap the ol' 20 pounder on my back with a hose to the auger and swiss cheese the entire lake for everyone!!!
lol... Well, after the 223 vs 22-250 thread I know that you probably have plenty of lead you could throw at it!
I love it! You'll have to head up this way next season bquick so I can give her a test drive-
Please do! I drill a lot of holes and it would be nice to take a break some time! Bet you could drill a ton with that 20lb tank.
I just can't bring myself to put her down though.
