Food and Fuel tourny on the great sacandaga 2012
« on: Feb 28, 2012, 03:35 PM »
I have been looking forward to this tournament all year but it is not looking like the weather is going to be very cold . I don't know if I want to spend the money for the entry fee and not be able to fish . I went out there once this year in january and there wasn't much ice then and it hasn't been that cold ever since . Has anyone been out there recently ? Is it even worth going ?

I took a ride up there today, just to take a peek. Several pressure ridges across the part extending north towards the Batcherville Br. Edges aren't that great. Looks "iffy".  But, it won't stop me. I'll be there.

stay away from the pressure ridges and you will be fine.
