If I was going to pop for a new camera I think I would get the aqua vu mini just for the fact you can stick it in your pocket, it would get used a lot more.

I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I just wasted.

for me its a camera aqua vu. i personally don't have any use for a flasher. i fish mostly whitefish and like to see them bite. mine has a 100' of cable

You really can't beat a good camera for whitefish.  I have the aqua-vu with 100ft cable and it helps tremendously.  There are days where they're biting so light that you won't catch anything with just a flasher.  But when you can see exactly how they're reacting and exactly when they've got your jig, you can still manage to put a few on the ice even on the slowest days.
