The Mile Saturday
« on: Feb 18, 2012, 09:02 PM »
Fished the Mile today with my friend Todd. Saw a few and missed a few trout in the morning and had about a 40" pike come through and look at my lure three times and take off. First fish of the
day was a nice 22" bo'. Played it for about 10 minutes when I noticed my flag was up on my tip-up. Called to Todd and he rushed over but too late! About 25' of line out and no fish.It died off after
11AM and I caught one more bo' at 3:30 PM,19". Only two trout for the day. A dusting of snow and some wind for a few hours in the afternoon but still a very nice day.
Thanks again for the donuts,Todd!

Another nice bow. Too bad on the flag. Would be nice to get another big pike under your belt. Especially the 40 incher!

Great work again. I thought about going up for "just" the morning today (Sunday) but that always lands me in the D-O-G house. Maybe tomorrow. I'll see how you did today (Sunday).

Great time as usual, my friend; except I wish just one time you'd share the piggies with me!  ;D

Pretty exciting time when you hooked the 22 and had a flag go up too.

Good luck today. Looks like the Wind God may not be too nice today, but maybe the Fish God will.
