Article in the statesman about it along with a Pic (maybe he should hold it a little bit further out in front of his body next time)...This is going to cause a HUGE spike in the ice fishing activity at Cascade I can tell you that right now.

The report weight is not written right. Not sure what it is or so confusing between oz and tenths. Good thing it's not length and measured in thousandths. I liked the picture as it at least gave the location away as to where the pic was taken.

Hope everyone has fun this weekend. Have other commitments this weekend but will be giving Friday a try.

Is anyone else starting to worry about all of these big pregnant females being caught?  I really hope we are not going to wipe out this great gene pool that we have now.  I for one have decided to stop killing the big hens.  Going to enjoy catching them and then back down the hole they go.  CB

you are probably right that the population will be ok.  It is just a personal thing for me.  I am not knocking anyone that wants to catch a pile of them.  I am just going to wait until they spawn before I keep any more.  And no, I do not trust the F and G to manage a fishery before it gets ruined.  Just like I do not trust the way big game has been looked after.  Sorry, way off topic with that remark.
