Season got a lot better today!

Bob(MG39) took me out jigging for perch today.  What a day!  We easily iced over 100 yellows and 1 crappie.  If they were 8" we considered em dinks.  Lots of real nice fish.  I didn't take any pictures, because we literally couldn't put the rods down most of the time.  A couple small tangles when we tried to jig 4 rods at a time spaced about 2' apart, but other than that a great day!  Thanks Bob, just what I needed!

Great day Josh, nothing like a relaxing day close to home.   I wish "salty" had come down, I haven't told him yet that I had a half a bucket of yellows for him to fillet. I guess I owe him one now.

he told me I was crazy not to have an electric filet knife, I guess I don't need one as often as he does

Great to hear you had a lot of action. After filleting 75 yellows last week  I think Whites are a lot easier to fillet and more meat . Think I'll hit my White perch hole in the morning.

I was smart. I only kept 8 perch and a crappie. They are all filleted, cooked and eaten!  I was going to get a demonstration but he was trying to find someone to take some of them after he couldn't pawn em on salty.
