i would say your best bets for walleye would be the connecticut river, lake champlain and lake carmi.

Don't expect to get a lot of information.  Walleye fisherman are as tight lipped as they get.  Even more so than Crappie fisherman.

Southern Champlain should be heating up shortly.  Other than the River you really don't have a lot of options.

I have been putting in time HARD CORE for years. I go out 4 days a week in winter and have fished over 14 hours straight many times with temps -5 and below. I am not weary or weak. I just am new to the Vermont state as of last year. So was looking for friendly help not ppls options.

chittenden Dam has walleye's but there very few and far between . you need to fish these walleyes on the back side of the dam and use large baits on tip ups to keep the little dinky perch away, because that place has billions of little dinky perch. i have never got any monsters out of there but i have seen allot of 6-11 ponders come out of there and mostly during the winter months. Good luck
I do all types of fishing; but I am Die hard Ice angler.
I love Ice Fishing the lakes of Rutland County. Recently moved to NY and now will be Ice fishing the Lakes Of New York.

Ever tried those dinky perch for bait on your tip-ups?
