Skinner lake
« on: Jan 15, 2012, 07:50 PM »
Eager to scratch my "ice itch" I headed out to check some local lakes & when I got to skinner I seen a crowd of 30. come to find out they were all geese, in all seriousness tho I think as long as  we don't get much rain I'm gonna check this lake out on sat. Checked thickness at shoreline, only bout an inch however at the end of the little pier I measured@ 21/2-3in of fairly decent ice. Just got a new showdown& am needing to put it to good use soon! :o p.s. Any good ice info around noble, stueben, or Lagrange would be greatly appreciated.
I don't give in till I get enough!!!
