What does the ice look like on the chain?  Anyone out on the lakes yet?  I have t believe this rain and warm weather have taken care of a lot of the ice we were "FINALLY" getting.

These are my home lakes.  The ice is plenty fine, people have been walking out pretty far even with all this rain.  I was standing on 4 inches of ice over the weekend on one of my spots.  Try the southeast end of Chetek or the north end of Prairie.

Thanks.  I can't believe there is any ice left that we had previously checked.  May have to travel a little farther north next week. I'll check back then.

Ice couldn't be better.  Its at least 5 inches all over and all the water froze solid.

How about an update on the Chetek chain.  We're going up there this weekend and wondering what the ice is like.  Are they driving out yet and if so where are they going out from.  Any info will be appreciated.

I was out on the North end of Prarie today.Ice was 11 inches,I measured 3 different spots, all the same. Some peeps are driving out ,most have wheelers or walk out.I was near the landing close to Veterans Park. There were several cars and full size pick ups on the ice... Paul
