Devil's Lake (Onoway)

Has anyone been out to Devil's lake lately to do some  Just wondering how thick the ice is and has anyone been catching anything there since hard water.  thanks in advance...

I haven't personally been out there yet, but haven driven past several times and there always seems to be at least someone on the lake. Last week someone was on with a big lifted Dodge right close to the mouth of the river...  :S

bump, would like to know if the perch still roam there in any numbers. might be worth a shot. since i think people have not hit nearly as hard in the last3-4 years.

The last time I fished there for perch was probably 5 or 6 years ago. I don't recall catching many big perch, or in large quantities. Definitely worth a shot though.

Devil's is a very dangerous lake, especially given the weather and ice conditions this year. I have been fishing it for over 30 years and i can tell you
There are many, many springs that feed the lake, and in fact i have come across open water in the middle of winter from where a spring has been bubbling up to the surface.
