My I.F.A.D. is no longer treatable!

Spent thursday and friday at the refuge (Dewey lake) first trip ever.  We had to catch atleast 75 perch all in 4ft of water.  It was unreal I also, got to watch a pike slam my lure but, he was all show and never took it.  Great time to be up there in my opion!  Abosolutely hooked can't wait to get back home and buy a new shanty and get back out to there!

we are going up on Wednesday, how thick was the ice?  Did you catch any jumbos?

Ice was 5-6" we caught 1 perch over 12"and 3 over 11"!  Stay close to weedliine in 4 to 5 foot of water.  Thursday night and friday morning we could barely keep our jigs in the water, the rest of the time was slow we just kept moving and drilling the weedlines.  Most fish were caught on salomon pink jig head tipped with berkley power bait wax-worm.

Thanks for the report, any gills?  I know they are few and far between at Dewey

No all we caught were the perch.  What other lakes are worth fishing up there?

Watts and Hackberry are also supposed to be good for panfish, we usually just fish Dewey though I havnt done much experimenting.
