Anyone know where the best place to access the lake from?

Pretty limited access to the lake. Hwy 50 probably the best but your gonna need a wheeler or something to get you around. There is very limited parking on south shore rd at bluegill rd. This would be a better bet if you are walking on.

I fish delavan a few times every season. I always park in the lot up at bluegill road. Just drop off stuff at bottom of hill, park jeep and walk back down. Easy travel if you are just fishing the south bays. I talked to a guy at gander in janesville who fishes delavan a lot and he said they might be closing the bluegill road parking lots because of exesive trash. I try to pick up whatever I can but it never seems to amount to much. Every little bit helps though.
