This may be old news around here but are these augers just rebranded Eskimos

Thanks

Noticed that the auger has the Viper engine, which is what Eskimo uses. My guess is the yes it is just rebranded

From everything I can see the the Black Ice is a Eskimo Mako re-branded. Same specs, motor, auger, transmission & handles.
The Costco Tempest is also the same thing re-branded for Costco.
Eskimo Mako, Rapala Black Ice & Costco Tempest.

The Rapala Vortex appears to be the Eskimo Sting Ray minus the foam grip handles.

The Rapala shelters also appear to be re-branded Eskimo Quickfish 2 & 3's. All the same specs.(dimensions, weight, material & number of anchors)
