my ice report

Woke up late this friday morning, cause i thought 6am was early enough, but i over slept, i Blame it on my girl  >:( after getting ready at 9am and finally running to walmart to get my girl a fishing license, we showed up at our location all ready to go. the hike was a 3mile hike up to 10300ft. The first 10 min we had to rest and wait for a min cause the air and weather was kicking our ass. after another 20 mins we arrived to our location and notice the area was clean and clear. Preparing my girl with all the safety gear i was finally able to drill my first hole 5" + of hard ice... better to be prepared and make sure my girl is safe. kept 8 total, these trout have been the biggest out of the 4 years that i have been hiking into this lake so it was a must to keep out 4 limit each, Ended my day giving the respect to my friend who pass from the war this year in july 2011... Memories last for ever but no one is ever forgotten....the photos will describe the rest of the story... my girl is yelling to finally click enter and make my report >:( shhheshh.... women....

Nice job dude! I saw James report over on the other site also. Those fish are deffinetly bigger than the St. Mary's brookies. Still not worth a three mile hike though!  :o

Sorry to here about your buddy. My condolences go out to him and his family.

Nice Brookies! Yeah I heard about the nice kokes they were pilling out from under the 1 inch ice.... To thin for a 260 pound guy.... Maybe 3 or 4 inches and I'll be there!
