The poor snowmobilers, they are at risk with all those little tiny hard to see shanties out there in their way of enjoying the snowmobiling on the  ice  ;D ;D ;D

If I couldn't have a shanty out because of thin ice, I'd be worried about being on anything with a motor!

so the shanties will fall through but the vehicles won't??!!! Who writes these things...... In all honesty though- if you don't have it off already, your probably in some trouble... ;)

What an oxymoronic statement the DEC posted.  Everyone needs to get their ice shanty's off the ice for snowmobiles and other vehicles.  If an ice shanty melted through the ice I sure as hell will bet no one is dumb enough to drive any vehicle onto the ice.
