Waterproofing Nomex?

Is there anything one could do to increase the waterproofing for nomex? I have a really warm pair of coveralls that were given to me this year but I am worried they will get swampy and wet once the late season ice starts to melt.

maybe just some spray on or wash in waterproofing like NikWax or something along that lines.
