Magic Today???

Did anybody go to Magic today?  If so how did you do?  Any perch biting

Went there today caught 3 7 to 8" perch and 6 15to18" bows and about 10 or so small bows 10 to 12" and lots of hit and runs we was down from the log cabin fishing in about 15' to 8 feet of water and small glow jig's swedish pimples and worm and corn they seem to bite all day long 18" to 2foot plus of ice and very nice weather today as well.

We were in the narrows and caught 8 trout and 4 perch.  1 perch was a 3 inch monster.  the others were about 6 and 7 inches.  Lost the biggest trout that didn't count back down the hole.  thats the downside of using a 10" hole I guess.  line snapped, bounced off the ice and fell back in.

Stinks that you lost your fish.   I was considering getting a 10" auger back when I was shopping around, glad I settled on the 8".  I saw a lady sink right up to her thigh stepping into one.

went back today and more good sized trout and some decent perch.  Friends kids was having a blast playing with the perch with my marcum.  kids sure can figure out electronics quick.

Heading out there today to do A bit of pre-derby exploration. Will report later this evening. Been trying different stuff last few times to little avail. Gotta try to find out though.
