Anyone interested in hitting up greist Friday. We will get out there in the morning around 8. We will be getting on the ice at the main ramp.

I am confused....Isn't today Friday and your post was at 11 am, yet you are hitting the ice at 8? Is that 8 PM or are you talking about next Friday?

No one wanted to go and they weren't hitting yesterday. So stayed home and watched my step son since he didn't have school.

Headed out to Geist tomorrow. Safe ice all around? Not asking for any spots but where do you typically get on the ice? We typically fish around the small bridge before you get to the marina but never with much luck. Any advice on other areas and its safety would be appreciated.

Icenewb I would go in at fall creel bridge. Olio has some open water that comes in from the imi property

Just got back home. Slow morning. We just had a few bits and no takers. Thanks again to the guy that let me use his auger since mine was not cutting.

Fished from 10-2 today. Ice is about 8 inches thick and we popped about 10-12 holes in 10-13 ft of water. No bites today. Only marked fish in a couple of holes with the Vex.

5-6 inches of snow fell while we were there.

Never understimate.....lol! Found an even better spot that I feel needs to be hit early in the AM. A nice 10-18 ft drop in less than 6 paces. All our venturing has finally paid off on this extremely difficult lake.
