I was checking the 10 day forcast four some of the lakes around here.  Deerfield of course looks the most promising.  Lows in the Teens and lower 20's and the highs aren't to bad (http://www.weather.com/activities/recreation/outdoors/weather/tenday.html?locid=US0294:13).  I just hope it holds out or gets better (Better = Colder  ;) ).

Well man I sure hope ya get some ice soon, I'm just about ready to go crazy waiting for it!  The Waubay area will be getting 30's-40's during days and high teens to mid 30's overnights for the next 10 days.... I sure PRAY that it only gets colder the following week.  I'd love to be out on the ice with all my gear the first week of Dec..

We're supposed to be getting up into the 40's and low 50's over the weekend and into next week but I'm not to concerned.  Those highs only last for maybe 3 -6 hours leaving the other 18 - 21 hours for ice building.

I'de imagine so.  One of my coworkers told me he was driving by Sheridan Lake and the 385 Access area has started freezing up.  Not safe by any means but it's a start.

I'm going to have to take a drive to the hills this weekend and check things out.

Well, I wasn't able to go anywhere this weekend.  My youngest cub was realy sick  and Motherbear's honeydew list was just to long  :%$#!:

This little warm spell probably spoiled any ice that may have formed on Sheridan Lake but Deerfield's night time lows have still been well below freezing the last few days.  I tried calling one of the resorts up there and they said they do have a little ice but not safe yet, shouldn't be long now .

I know how that goes.. we are getting there though. Ice is fishable in a the hills in places and Orman is frozen, just don't know how thick yet ??? ???

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.
