Nils Question
« on: Jan 15, 2011, 08:41 AM »
Just getting back into ice fishing after an absence of many years and just received the new 6" Nils hand auger that I ordered.  I noticed that the 6" auger that I received has a 6" cutting blade, but the auger part that goes up the shaft towards the handle is only 4.5" in diameter.  Is this normal on the Nils augers?

Got a chance to try out my new Nils today.  The fishing wasn't very good, but the Nils auger was amazing.  You guys weren't kidding about how good they are.  Cut through over 12 inches of ice in about 15 seconds.  This thing is light years beyond anything I had used in the past.
