anyone knowif fr8604 between georgetown and east fork res is open?

Not sure of the road number but the road from georgetown to east fork is not open in winter except to snowmobiles.  It gets drifted up to much to get thru with a truck in the winter time.

That road is drifted in from what I hear. Passable to snowmobiles/atvs. I've been using the one that comes off the rock creek/skalkaho road and goes through the lower campground up onto the dam. It's plowed up to the lower campground. Snows not to bad from there on. Last friday I drove my truck across the dam to the bridge that crosses the spillway. Didn't go any farther than that. Today I drove all the way to where I fished. As long as you have 4-wheel drive and some good tires, you'll be fine. - SpitzoMT
