How do you rig whole fish and sausage for lakers?

check out zimmertackle.com or just search dick zimmer aka The Macman.  He sells a line of ready rigs and you can just buy his stuff or examinine his riggings and...

The only thing with rigging whole fish setups, you need to be prepared, please, to release those slot fish that you will most like catch.  They get taken deep and mortality is an issue unless you are ready to release the fish.

Some of the best times for big fish on Flathead are right around the corner...or already here with this screwy weather.  Been doing a lot of thinking 'bout hitting the big lake

Do a Google or Yahoo search on "quick strike rigs". It's what we use for bait fish for both Macs and pike. Doesn't matter if they hang horiz. or vertical, the fish will eat 'em. Couple this with a slammer for your dead stick rod and you have a winner.
