Just jokeing but since ive got you here lets hear what your doing to pass the time.
I worked till about 10 am (I plow for the county) made it home ( I live 20 miles out of Rapid) split wood in the garage, skinned a coon, a coyote, and took a nap and watched movies and played games with the wife and kids.  How about you?

I shoveled, twice. Pretty much snowed in in central SD. If it clears off I have a doe tag to fill tomorrow. Might be a while before I can get back on the ice.

have been plowing snow here too got a little sleep and will have to head back out in a while to move some more.  Stay up for a while though to do some board games with the kids, they are excited for new years here.  Ice fishing..... well don't think i will get much of that done around NE SD  Will have to walk out or buy a sled to access the lakes i think lol.  from what it sounds like to get around on the lakes (with out this last blast of snow)  you need to use a sled or atv with tracks.   All this snow sure does make it hard to get around on the lake.

Watched the blizzard out the window,
shoveled some snow from my side of the driveway,
braved the storm for a short trip downtown for some groceries,
ate dinner,
worked on a design project for 4 hours,
then ate supper,
watched some football bowl games,
now surfin' IC for my daily icefishin' fix........

Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!

Sometime hard water is a good thing..............

Fished pactola in the -20 degree temps. You know its cold when the heater in the hut cant keep youre beer from freezing. Two dinky perch and two flags. Wasted my day away. Could have been at home sitting by the fire.

Spent the day having issues with the auger and finally fishing at Deerfield.

Perchmaster, our holes keep icing up in the hut with the heater, guess today I'll have to take the big heater out instead of the small one lol

Spent 3 hrs yesterday and 5 hrs today blowing snow out of my driveway and sidewalk. I'm afraid driving on the ice won't be happening for a while around here.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
