night lantern on ice?
« on: Jan 02, 2011, 08:43 AM »
I understand that a lantern on ice esp if you clear any snow around it will send a fair amount of light downward into the water.
Does this attract plankton/bait/fish to any amount?  or does it spook fish esp Walleye?

I set mine on top of a bucket and if the ice is clear I'm sure it will attract plankton and such, and does it spook Walleyes, apparently not,  being I just caught some New Years eve fishing Crappie's.
