Hey Bud-fish-er nice talking to you out there.  I cut a chunk of ice out on the walk back and saw 2.5" of good ice with 1" of bubbly ice on top.

Welcome.  How do you do on Cedar Lake?  I have always wanted to check it out, but haven't been that way yet.
Panfish are there, just didn't get any nice sized ones.  I'm sure that there are some good ones.  Just got to put in the time.

First timer here.  Really like the info, feel I should contribute.  Fished Cedar Lake, 3-5 inches of good ice.  Kind of slow with some lil' bity panfish.  Good to just get out and fish.
lest check it out on sunday, pick up some live bait at big river tackle set up some tip ups!

Was out on miles pond in concord for perch today, caught a dozen or so perch on fatheads and pimples, wasnt bad for under two hours. So glad the auger decided to fire, ran good even!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles.

Fished Waterbury after school for an hour or so today. Saw one permanent shanty set up, one portable and ATV tracks out their, so i headed out and started to drill a hole, and after 5 turns of the auger realized theirs only about 2-3 inches out their. Didn't bother me being a single man walking, but those guys had some cohones to take a wheeler and wooden shanty out their!
Proceeded to do some perch jerkin  and didn't even have a bite.
