long pond and balsam lake

does anybody know how thick is the ice????...I'm planing to go there this weekend but that's a 3.5 hour ride and i diont want to drive if its not fishable....thank you

check in the reports and conditions section, under Small water Chenango county.  there are lots of posts from Long Pond
