Lost in South central

Ok guys and gals i know northern iowa is a good place to hit the hard water no question about it, but what is a guy to do when he lives in south central iowa? is there any good fishing down here in the knoxville area? i went out last year for the first time in many many years only to get exersise drillin hole after hole and walking mile after mile.  i love this sport but need a little direction is there anyone out there who can help?

Well, Roberts Creek, Belva Deer, and 3/12 mile are the first ones that come to mind. Plus there are a lot of farm ponds in southern Iowa that are fantastic fishing.

Roberts Creek? Have you fished it lately? Any tips on where to fish?

hey tom there is also diamond lake, rock creek lake, mariposa, krumm and big creek.
early to bed early to rise fish like h.e.l.l. and think up lies.

Lake Miami, by Chariton there is 3 lakes. Some folks icefish Red Rock by the Marina. Ahquabi by Indianola. Good Luck

ok so as for roberts creek tough fishing , ive never fished miami or 3 1/2 mile or 12 mile but i know there is some hella bass on those last two lakes but i relly want some good sized eyes and crappie.    guys help me out i need it......lol

You've also got Red Haw, Rathbun, West Lake, O Lake. Just to name a few more.
