WHY???????

rant on

Why are there so many ice conditions/ice reports in the ICE CONDITIONS/ICE REPORTS then there isn't any fishable ice yet?????????/

I'z not a gret redder or speller, but com on guys, stop all the IS THERE ANY ICE YET ON THE LAKE.

it's only been less then a week of under 30 degree temps.
Yes there was a few small places that had ice the last 2 days of NOV. but then we gotz over 2"-5" of ice and killed the 2" of ice on these small places.

STOP ASKING IS THERE ANY ICE YET.......let the ones that travel and check the conditions to report that there is a start of skim ice, etc. or get in your truck/car/bike etc and go check yourself.

I know everyone is chomping at the bit to get out on the ice, but it does take a little time for the larger lakes to build safe ice. Go look at the local/private ponds for fishable ice, and those little places are listed in the ice conditions topic.

Please remember the Iceshanty.com Website/Forum Policies and follow these 4 simple rules.

1) Any posts that do not pertain to fishing reports or ice conditions may be removed.

2) Do not add posts to a thread "requesting" information for ice conditions, techniques, specific areas, to plan trips or, to just say "HI". Please use "Private Messaging" or start a topic in the NY General forum.

3) Moderators will start new topics. This will insure a consistent format.

4) MOST OF ALL. Enjoy the Ice fishing season.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

take note and read da rules!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 and #2 are so hard to understand.  ::)
