No..we chose a flat place(we know they're any rock there) the ice is really thick(maybe 5 -6 feet) The worst thing at this place, is the wind..he's very strong...if the ground is not enougth icy(not soft snow..see what could happen!

got another place on St-Laurent river and it's also hazardous..we have to go as far as possible for catch walleyes..4-5 inches of ice at this point and the clear water is near..it's not to bad..but if a big transporter boat pass in face of us,,we have to go back on thicky ice and wait for the wave and hope!..

that's wy at this place, i prefer use fishing rods..we moove faster..and lost less equipment if everything breack!
Dont worry..we also have a couples of more sécurity lakes!
