moose

I know not related to ice fishing but does anyone have a great spot to see a moose within an hour of regina.  Not for hunting, just want to have a good chance seeing one or two.

I am prepared to give a great walleye spot of in exchange for seeing a moose.

Tight lines

by the way, i was out tonight and it was very good for eyes out at the fort.

You just have to drive the grids between pense and regina north of the number one south of 11

kinda in the middle of the map my dad was out at his barn a couple weeks ago and seen 3

if you see 2 big blue quonsets side buy side your in good territorry just head south a bit.

the only problem is you might have a bit of trouble with it being unting season they might be hiding ...
not sure though im not a hunter .

i would definatly have to say bullcrap to the 3 inches of ice ....  as i drilled half a dozen holes today and my results were .....

drove all the way down to the west end on pasqua and it look very very shady there were a bunch of wet spots im thinking from the weight of the snow anyways pasqa was not even 2 " on the far west end didnt even bother anywhere else as it didnt look safe.

drove along echo drilled at basayta and once again same thing maybe 2 in  and all the wet spots too

mission well mission looked the best with less wet spots so i went to lebret boat launch and fished in about 4 ft of water for about an hour so i knew i could at least stand if i fell through lol   once again less then 2 in

as for snow everything has a blanket of about 2-4 in possibly more so yah ... im passing for this weekend

so unless your god im not to sure how you found 3.5 inches of ice ...
